(WJET/WFXP)-- The Pennsylvania man charged after police said a dispute at a Bradford convenience store led to him stabbing another man with a katana-style sword has pleaded guilty.
The McKean County District Attorney's Office announced that 44-year-old Adrian Washington of Bradford pleaded guilty to aggravated assault for that stabbing on May 18.

That evening at approximately 9:16 p.m., officers of the City of Bradford Police Department responded to a call at the Bradford Regional Medical Center regarding a man with a stab wound to the abdomen that required him to be flown to a DuBois area hospital.
Police said Washington and the victim got into an argument near a local Country Fair, adding that Washington later came back to the area with the sword, leading to another argument that ended with Washington stabbing the victim.
His sentencing is scheduled for October 16.
