WORCESTER – Police arrested a shop owner for allegedly selling a range of illegal products.
Julio Abreu, 60, the owner of A&C Market at 6A Boylston St., was cited for selling flavored tobacco and vapes, alcohol and multiple bags of a synthetic marijuana, known as K2, according to police.
The bust was announced by Worcester police on its social media accounts on Friday, Sept. 11.
More than $3,000 in cash and a digital scale that police associate with drug distribution was also seized by authorities. The store doesn't have a liquor license and no authority to sell flavored tobacco, according to police.
Authorities had a warrant to search the store after receiving complaints of double parking and public drinking.
Abreu is charged with possession of a Class C substance with intent to distribute, illegal sale of alcohol without a liquor license and illegal sale of flavored tobacco.
