FAIRVIEW — A motorcyclist is dead after a Friday night crash in Fulton County.
Emergency services responded to the intersection of Illinois 97 and Randolph Road in Fairview for a collision involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle at about 6:15 p.m. Friday. Fulton County Coroner Austin Rhodes confirmed that a passenger of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the deceased is currently withheld pending next of kin notifications.
This crash remains under investigation by the Fulton County Coroner's Office, Illinois State Police and the Fulton County Sheriff's Office. Also assisting at the scene were the Fairview Fire Protection District, Cuba Fire Department and the Fulton County Emergency Medical Association.
