A man with no nose was arrested during a routine traffic stop on drug charges in Florida, police said.
Charles Wilson Pastore, 46, was a passenger in a Mercedes-Benz pulled over in Fort Lauderdale on Sept. 3. A K-9 alerted authorities to narcotics in the vehicle and police found methamphetamine and crack cocaine in the spare-tire compartment, according to 12 News.
Investigators found more drugs in Pastore's possession, as well as more than $3,600 in cash. A backpack discovered in the vehicle had another $3,515 in cash, a digital scale and a handgun with an altered or shaved serial number and a round in the chamber.
Police believe Pastore and the vehicle's driver were working together to traffic and distribute narcotics.
Pastore, who has a hole on his face where his nose should be, was carrying an invalid Florida driver's license. He's facing charges that includemethamphetamine trafficking, possession of methamphetamine and cocaine, possession of a forged driver's license or identification card and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He has been released from jail.
