Pump It Up party center in Hartville has closed

HARTVILLE – Pump It Up, an entertainment and party center at 1135 W. Maple St., has closed after 20 years in business.

A recent post on the company's website, pumpitupparty.com, announced the closure:

"To our valued customers, it's with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of our business. We want to extend our sincerest gratitude for your incredible support and loyalty over the past 20 years. Serving you has been a true pleasure, thank you for being a part of our journey!"

Messages to the company's email and phone number were not immediately returned.

Pump It Up's inflatable structures, benches, tables and other event equipment have been listed by Kiko for an online auction, beginning at 9 a.m. Sept. 7 and ending at 7 p.m. Sept. 14.
